Yerala Projects

Project Selection Process

All of the projects undertaken by YPS are fundamentally based on the specific needs identified within the communities they serve. This acute awareness and understanding of these needs stem from the organization’s deep-rooted connections with the people living in the villages. The trust that has been fostered between the villagers and the organization is profound, enabling an open dialogue about the challenges they face.

Within each village, there are a select few individuals who resonate strongly with the organization’s ideology. These individuals become designated as Key Persons, serving as the critical link between the village and the organization. The role of these Key Persons is instrumental in the process of identifying and communicating local problems to the organization.

Maintaining a regular line of communication with the organization’s core team, these Key Persons raise requests whenever they encounter an issue that requires attention. These requests are not taken lightly. They are meticulously analyzed and discussed with the organization’s partners to develop a comprehensive and effective strategy to address the problems. In this way, every issue is given careful consideration and a tailored approach to ensure the well-being of the communities served.
